Approximation to legislation on hygiene

The revised standards on food hygiene are built under a common framework, Regulation 852/2004, of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs.

Recommendation to restrict the use of latex gloves in the food business

Although it may seem to be hygienic (2), misuse of gloves not only causes problems from cross-contamination of food, but the latex used in their manufacture may cause an extra problem, as has been scientifically proved.
