Reports of the Scientific Committee
For formal communications, the Scientific Committee uses “Reports of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN)”, which are published in accordance with that established in article 35 of Royal Decree 709/2002, dated 19 July, approving the Statutes of the Spanish Food Safety and Nutrition Agency. These reports are directed at the subsequent management of food safety.
The reports from the AESAN Scientific Committee are classified in four categories: chemical risks, physical and technological risks, biological risks and nutritional risks.
