Suspicion of adverse reactions to instant coffee sold over the Internet24/06/2010
The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition has received notification from the European Commission Services, via RASFF (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed) of the existence of an instant coffee, brand name “Magic Power Coffee”, being illegally marketed as a “dietary supplement for enhanced sexual performance” which contains an active drug ingredient that can lower blood pressure. As the product is marketed via the Internet, its distribution on a national level is not known.
