Scientific Cooperation with EFSA Conference24/11/2010
The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) organized last November 22nd on its headquarters and informative conference about the scientific cooperation with the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
This conference was mainly focused on scientific cooperation through the so-called Art. 36 List (Regulation (EC) Nº 178/2002) referred to the organizations designated by the member states to collaborate with EFSA on its mission.
The presentations counted with the participation of the European Authority and two of the organizations included on the Spanish List.
Out of the assistants, besides the representatives of several organizations included in the aforementioned List, have to be highlighted the members of the AESAN Scientific Committee.
