The correct nutrition labelling of foods can help the population to enjoy a healthy and balanced diet. As such, this is an initiative which must be promoted and supported by all stake-holders in the food sector: medical societies, public administration and industry.
On the occasion of the 9th National Nutrition Day, FESNAD (Spanish Federation of Societies of Nutrition and Dietetics) has organised a meeting between representatives of these three groups in order to answer some of the questions raised by nutrition labelling and which affect the consumer.
