  • To define the impact of Regulation (EC) Nº 764/2008, which lays down procedures relating to the application of certain national technical regulations to products legally marketed in other Member States, on the marketing of food supplements composed of substances other than vitamins and minerals which are not harmonised at European level.
  • To promote transparency and to share the experiences of Member States in this field in order to ensure a high level of protection for consumers whilst at the same time ensuring the efficient functioning of the internal market.

At the end of the workshop, Ana María Troncoso, Executive Director of the Agency, presented the conclusions, which will soon be published on this website.
